How to get the most out of it
Sit the four pruebas in order and keep to the official time for each one.
Play every listening recording twice, the way the exam does, and answer during or after the second play.

Are the DELE A2 sample exams really free?
Yes. Each DELE A2 sample exam is a free PDF with all four pruebas, the audio links, answer keys, listening transcripts and the examiner script for the speaking role-play. No payment and no paywall.
How long is the DELE A2 exam?
Just under three hours in total. Reading takes 60 minutes, listening 40 minutes and writing 45 minutes. The speaking test lasts 12 minutes, with another 12 minutes to prepare beforehand.
How do I know if I would pass?
Each prueba is worth 25 points. You need at least 30 of 50 in group 1 (reading and writing) and 30 of 50 in group 2 (listening and speaking) to be APTO. In the booklet each reading and listening answer is worth one point, so you can mark those yourself.
Is the DELE A2 enough for Spanish nationality?
Spain asks nationality applicants for a DELE at A2 or higher, together with the CCSE test on the constitution and society. Nationals of countries where Spanish is an official language are exempt from the DELE.
Why is the booklet in Spanish?
Because the real exam is. The DELE A2 paper, its instructions and the speaking examiner are all in Spanish, so the booklet uses the same format and the same kind of instructions you will see on exam day.
