1. Introduction

Welcome to Mocko.ai (“we,” “our,” or “us”). These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the Mocko.ai platform, website, and related services (collectively, the “Service”), including our AI-powered mock exams and training materials for the Test d'Évaluation de Français (TEF) and French language learning.
By creating an account, accessing, or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, you must not use the Service.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 16 years old (or the age of majority in your jurisdiction) to use the Service. By using Mocko.ai, you represent that you meet this requirement and have the legal authority to accept these Terms.

3. Description of Service

Mocko.ai provides AI-generated mock exams, study tools, and performance analytics to help users improve their French language proficiency, including preparation for the TEF exam.
We do not guarantee specific outcomes, exam scores, or certifications. Our tools are intended for educational purposes only.

4. Accounts and Security

• You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials.

• You agree to notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account.

• We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts suspected of violating these Terms.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for unlawful purposes.

• Interfere with the operation or security of the Service.

• Attempt to copy, reverse-engineer, or misuse our AI systems.

• Share, sell, or redistribute content from Mocko.ai without written permission.

6. AI-Generated Content Disclaimer

Our mock exams, tips, and feedback are generated using artificial intelligence. While we aim for accuracy, AI-generated content may contain errors, omissions, or inaccuracies.
You should independently verify any critical information before relying on it for study, work, or decision-making.

7. Payment and Subscription

• Some features of the Service require payment. All fees are disclosed prior to purchase.

• Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled before the next billing cycle.

• All payments are final and non-refundable, regardless of usage or performance outcomes.

8. Intellectual Property

Except for the third-party names and marks identified in Section 9, all content on the Service, including AI models, exam materials, text, graphics, and logos, is owned by Mocko.ai or its licensors and protected by copyright and trademark laws.
You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to access and use the Service for personal, non-commercial purposes.

9. Trademarks, Exam Brands and Non-Affiliation

Mocko.ai is an independent preparation service. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, sponsored by, licensed by, certified by or otherwise connected to any organization that owns, writes or administers the exams we help users prepare for. We have no partnership, accreditation or authorization from any of them. Where we name an exam, we do so only to identify the test our practice material is designed for.

The exam names, test names and related marks referenced on this site are the trademarks or registered trademarks of their respective owners, including:

• Versant, Versant English Placement Test, GSE and Global Scale of English are trademarks of Pearson Education, Inc. or its affiliates.

• PTE, PTE Academic, PTE Core and Pearson Test of English are trademarks of Pearson Education Ltd or other companies in the Pearson group.

• CELPIP and CELPIP-General are trademarks of Paragon Testing Enterprises Inc.

• TEF, TEF Canada, TEF Québec and DFP (Diplôme de français professionnel) are trademarks of the Chambre de commerce et d’industrie de Paris Île-de-France, which produces and administers them under its Le français des affaires brand.

• TCF, TCF Canada, TCF Québec and Ev@lang are trademarks of France Éducation international, which designs and administers them for the French Ministry of National Education.

• DELF, DALF and DILF are diplomas awarded by the French Ministry of National Education (Ministère de l’Éducation nationale) and are administered internationally by France Éducation international.

• TFI (Test de français international) and TOEFL are trademarks of Educational Testing Service (ETS).

• IELTS is a trademark of the British Council, IDP: IELTS Australia and Cambridge University Press & Assessment.

• Canadian Language Benchmarks, CLB and Niveaux de compétence linguistique canadiens (NCLC) are the property of the Centre for Canadian Language Benchmarks. Express Entry, the Comprehensive Ranking System and related program names are the property of the Government of Canada.

Except as described below, all practice questions, passages, audio, prompts, tasks, explanations and lesson content on Mocko are original material created by Mocko, including material generated by our own AI systems, and are based on test formats, task types and scoring criteria that the exam owners publish publicly. Mocko does not reproduce or distribute real exam questions, passages, recordings, answer keys or score reports — every scored practice item on this site is written by Mocko. Where our practice format mirrors an exam owner’s on-screen instructions or worked examples, short extracts of that instructional text may appear so that the practice format matches the real test; those extracts remain the property of their owner and are used for identification and format fidelity only. Where our site describes topics or themes that test takers commonly report encountering, those are descriptions of subject matter written by us and are not reproductions of official exam items. If you believe any material on Mocko infringes your rights, contact support@mocko.ai and we will review it.

Mocko does not administer any official exam, is not an official test center, and cannot register you for one. The scores, levels, bands and reports Mocko produces are practice estimates generated by our own scoring systems for study feedback only. They are not official results, they are not equivalent to or predictive of an official result, and they carry no certification. They cannot be submitted to, and will not be accepted by, Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada, any other government body, any employer, any educational institution or any exam owner. Only the organization that owns and administers an exam can issue an official score or certificate. Mocko does not guarantee any exam score, level or outcome; where we offer a promotional guarantee, it is a commitment about our own service, governed by its own published terms, and is not a guarantee of your official exam result.

10. Third-Party Services

Mocko.ai may integrate with third-party tools or resources. We are not responsible for the content, policies, or practices of these third parties.

11. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account without notice if you violate these Terms or engage in conduct harmful to the Service or its users.

12. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law:

• Mocko.ai is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind.

• We are not liable for any damages, including lost profits, arising from your use of the Service.

• Our total liability shall not exceed the amount paid by you in the six months preceding the claim.

13. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Mocko.ai, its officers, employees, and partners from any claims or liabilities arising from your use of the Service or violation of these Terms.

14. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. If changes are material, we will notify you by email or in-app notice. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance.

15. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Province of British Columbia and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein, without regard to conflict of laws principles. You agree to submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in British Columbia, Canada.
