Mocko September 2026 Update: Free Ebooks, DELE A2 and More

September was our busiest month on mocko.ai so far. We added a new language, three free ebooks, a new edition of every sample exam and a set of guides for exams you have been asking about. Here is everything that is new, and where to find it.
- DELE A2 Spanish is now live on Mocko, with one free full mock exam.
- Free ebooks for the TEF Canada, TCF Canada and Versant English Test, each with a full practice exam.
- October sample exams for the TEF, TCF, CELPIP, Versant and DELE A2, which joined the series this month.
- Open statistics from more than 1,500 TEF and TCF mock exams.

DELE A2 Spanish is live
Mocko now prepares you for the DELE A2, the Spanish exam most applicants need for Spanish nationality by residence. You get full mock exams in the official four-prueba format, with your writing and speaking scored, a score for each prueba and an APTO or NO APTO result at the end. The exam and the report are in Spanish, and your first full DELE A2 mock is free.

Free ebooks: TEF Canada, TCF Canada and Versant
Our new free ebooks are complete preparation guides you can download, print and share, with no signup. Each one explains the exam format, how scores work, a strategy for every task and a study plan, then finishes with a full original practice exam, an answer key and model answers.
- The TEF Canada Guide: 73 pages, the current format, the TEF to NCLC grid, and a full exam with 80 listening and reading questions plus both writing and both speaking tasks.
- The TCF Canada Guide: 79 pages, the TCF to NCLC grid, and a full exam with 78 questions rising from A1 to C2 plus all three writing and speaking tasks.
- The Versant English Test Guide: 46 pages on all nine parts of the Versant English Placement Test and an 81-question practice test.
A printed book cannot play audio, so each ebook includes a script a friend can read aloud for the listening test. When you want the real thing, with recordings played once and the real timer, the same tests are waiting for you on Mocko.
October sample exams, now with DELE A2
Every month we publish a free, printable sample exam for each exam we cover. The October editions are out for the TEF, TCF, CELPIP, Versant and DELE A2. The DELE A2 sample exam joined the series this month, so there are already two editions to practise with. Find them all on the sample exams page.
Open TEF and TCF statistics
How many candidates actually reach B2, the band where NCLC 7 sits? Our new TEF and TCF statistics page publishes what more than 2,000 scored listening and reading sections from over 1,500 full mock exams show: the share at B2 or above, the full band distribution, how often both comprehension sections clear B2 in one sitting, and what changes between a candidate’s first and latest mock. The data is open, with a CSV you can download.
New guides
- TEF IRN in 2026: the French naturalisation and residency test now goes up to B2, with four compulsory tests on the same day. Most older guides are out of date.
- TEF or TCF: which is easier?: a section-by-section comparison to help you choose the right test for Express Entry.
- Guides to four exams we are building prep for next: fide (Switzerland), the SLE French test (Canadian public service), CILS B1 Cittadinanza (Italian citizenship) and CIPLE A2 (Portuguese nationality).

Earlier this month we added the Versant English 4-Skills Essential and English Writing Test next to the English Placement Test. If your invitation names one of them, practise that exact paper: read the announcement.
